The New Chevy Traverse Comes Standard with OnStar, XM Radio, and Programmable Power Door Locks

The 2010 Chevy Traverse comes with interior features that make it a smart buy for almost anyone. Every new Traverse comes with one year of free OnStar, XM radio, and rear child security door locks. It's a great vehicle to take on an adventure or just drive around town. Consumer Guide commented, "[the ride is] firm and controlled, but always comfortable with no harshness over even major road imperfections." Four trim styles are available; the LT1, the LT2, the LS, and the LTZ. All the trims come with either FWD or AWD.It's usually the small things that make a difference for the comfort of you and your passengers. For instance, the new Traverse comes with air conditioning, reading lights for the front seat, second row reading lamps, and illuminated entry and exit.
As mentioned before, the new Traverse comes with one year of free OnStar, which provides you with turn-by-turn navigation, automatic crash response, emergency services, crisis assist, stolen vehicle assistance, remote door unlock, roadside assistance, and remote horn and lights. The Traverse also comes with amenities that modern drivers can't live without. These include a rear window electric defogger, electronic cruise control, a tilt and telescopic steering column with a brake/transmission shift interlock, and power programmable door locks with lockout protection. A brake/shift interlock prevents the gear shift from being moved unless the brake is also applied. It also applies the brake automatically if no one is in the driver's seat; this helps to prevent rollaway accidents.
The Traverse comes with some nice exterior touches that include daytime running lamps, automatic headlamps, and front intermittent washers with wipers.
Every new Traverse also comes with traction control, StabiliTrak, Ride and Handling suspension, and 4-wheel antilock; 4-wheel disc brakes. In other words, it comes with the right equipment to handle rough terrain. Additionally, 6-speed automatic; electronically controlled transmission with overdrive, auto-grade braking, and tap-shift manual shift control comes standard on every Traverse.
To keep you and your passengers safe, the new Chevy Traverse comes with front passenger airbag supression, frontal and side-impace airbags for the driver and front passenger, and head curtain side-impact air bags for all of the ouboard seating positions.
