The new 2010 Chevy Traverse remains unchanged since it came out last year. It's a crossover SUV that seats 7-8 and comes with smart features like XM radio, one free year of OnStar, and rear child security door locks. In fact, the new Traverse ranks #1 in U.S. News and World Report Rankings and Reviews' list of affordable midsize SUVs. Each of the four trim styles come with either FWD or AWD. The trims are the LT1, the LT2, the LS, and the LTZ.If you need storage options then you'll be glad to know that the Traverse comes with cargo storage under the rear floor, and a front center console with a covered storage bin, a sliding armrest with storage, and two cupholders.
As mentioned before, the new Traverse comes with one year of free OnStar, which provides you with turn-by-turn navigation, automatic crash response, emergency services, crisis assist, stolen vehicle assistance, remote door unlock, roadside assistance, and remote horn and lights. The Traverse also comes with amenities that modern drivers can't live without. These include a rear window electric defogger, electronic cruise control, a tilt and telescopic steering column with a brake/transmission shift interlock, and power programmable door locks with lockout protection. A brake/shift interlock automatically applies the brake if no one is in the driver's seat. This prevents your car from rolling away if you forget to put it in "park".

The 2010 1LT FWD seats eight and comes with a 281 horsepower 3.6L SIDI V6 engine, and variable effort power steering. Variable effort power steering provides greater maneuverability at lower speeds (parking speeds) and less assistance at high speeds for greater stability.
